The number six appears in the Bible for the first time on the pages of Genesis, in the history of the creation of the world. On the sixth day, God created man in his own image. The number 6 is therefore the number of people.

The number of the beast, six hundred threescore and six is ​​a multiple of the number of man. It contains three layers:

1. 666 as a spirit of humanism. It is the spirit of Antichrist himself who puts himself at the centre. This spirit completely rejects God, denies the Lord Jesus Christ. He wants to make laws and rules himself. He will appear in the form of Antichrist, who will sit on the throne of the whole world uniting him in the name of lies, false ideas and humanism. Global government, one religion, one economy. Totalitarianism and the cult of the individual.
2. 66 as leaders deceiving people from the truth. These are all the systems created by and around man. At their centre is not God, but man. An example are religious systems, e.g. the Roman Catholic Church, which is based on the central figure of the Pope and exalting him on par with God. Political systems in which trust is in power. Military systems in which we believe the strength of our army. Economic systems. Media systems that program our minds and news which we trust more than God’s Word. The same spirit misleads people by changing God’s Word. We place trust in the scribes and human discoveries of older, better manuscripts.
3. 6 as YOU. If you see evil contained in the above systems, how do you want to fight it? If you trust yourself, then you unknowingly become yourself part of this devilish cult. Perhaps you believe that we can only win by protesting in the streets. Or maybe you have to defend yourself? If you trust yourself, you are in a losing position. And who controls your life? Is it yourself? If you call yourself a Christian, is Christ really reigning on the throne of your heart?

Our only escape is repentance and turning to God. Only prayer can free us from the dangers of this world. Daniel refused to bow to Nebuchadnezzar and his worship system. He was thrown into a cave with lions. His only salvation was prayer. He did not try to fight the lions with his own hands. You have no chance alone in the fight against the evil of this world!

“Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Eph. 6:13

We do not win with our own hands. God promised he would fight for his people.

“Thus saith the Lord unto you, 

Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; 

for the battle is not yours, but God’s. […]

Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: 

set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you.”

2 Kings 20:15-17

We gain victory over evil and over Satan and his deception when we put our trust completely in God. Do not be afraid or be worried!

Do not trust in yourself because it is not you who will fight. Stop being feeble like grass, but trust that this victory has already been won on the cross of Golgotha, where Christ died for your sins and rose on the third day.

Trust not in the number 6. Trust in God, whose number is 7.

God who took human form. A perfect union of God’s nature, to which human nature is added, united in the person of Jesus Christ. Perfect God, perfect man.

If you trust in yourself, you have no chance. You win with Jesus, being called to live in him and to overcome this world by faith.

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 J. 5:4

Only in Jesus’ name is your salvation!

“The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
